Celebrating the creative vision of today’s emerging artists from all ethnicities at Cinema Village, the American Asian Latino Film Festival NYC not only bought to us screening of various sensible films and music videos but also gave us a window to admire the different looks people carried with great elan. Here are some of my favorites from the show:
- The Blue Duo!
We loved the coupled pairing of Blue. It was so obvious that they made the most dazzling couple on the carpet. They told me they had color co-ordinated for the event. The coat worn by Jean M Nelson is a style inspiration for men, whereas the dress worn by Natasha Lumsden highlights every inch of femininity.
Natasha Lumsden is an actress, writer and executive producer, and Jean M Nelson is the director known for The Passion of Love (2018). The Passion of Love is a story about the spirit of two lovers who met in a past life and are trying to make their way into the 21 st century.
- The Laced Camo Painted Leggings and Hoodie
The Paints over Camo Laced Leggings and a paired hoodie was a great idea! We fell in love on Philippe Valy’s work to creatively blend his art into the fabrics in style.
- The Red Dress ,The Painted Heels and The Painted Purse!
The lady in red sparkled in those painted heels by Philippe Valy. Worn by singer Stella Crispo, she was looking every inch a diva.
- Painted Hat, The Leggings and The Jewelry
I chose to go cowboy in this gorgeous painted hat by Philippe and his leggings. I paired it up with a multicolor neckpiece gifted to me by a friend.

- The Long Shirt with Ripped Jeans
Wow that was surely a head turner. A new trend yet to come to the market perhaps! Bring it on please.

Who would love to wear a bow like that? It was a stunner by Philippe Valy
7. Biker Jacket
We all need to have one personalized Biker Jacket, don’t we?
- Animal Print Jacket and Shoes
All shoes need not be boring. Some can go with the trend.
- Heart Shaped Purse Who knew a heart shaped purse could look sophisticated than tacky. Her purse was gorgeous.
- Neon
On a sweet note , we must end the night in Neon because an after party is fun!
